I'm fixing to rock this shhhh.....
I Zumba'd yesterday. For the first time. OMG- what a work out! I met one of my besties, Jessica, who's been "Zumbaing" for quite some time now. Jess had already stated she had never seen "a white girl shake it like that." Um, she was right. This girl could have easily been one of Beyonce's backup dancers. The class was an hour long and within the first ten minutes I thought there was no way I was going to make it through. I was imagining the different ways I could leave: fake a family emergency, maybe I could "pretend" to pass out, fake puking, ANYTHING to get me out of what I just committed myself to. Luckily after about 20 minutes of serious struggling my second wind kicked in, and I finished the class. I know I probably looked like Gwyneth Paltrow at a Jay-Z concert, but I can honestly say that it was a lot of fun. And I must be crazy, because I'm going back next week. Sofia Vergara's bod is not easy to come by, y'all.

Happy New Year!!
It's NYE!! I'm actually excited for our plans tonight. We're meeting friends for dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant and then headed back to our friends home for games, drinks, and (I'm sure) a dance party or two. My sweet parents took Aaron Mo for the night so we can indulge in some much-needed adult time. I honestly can't remember the last NYE that we got dressed up and went out (that's sad, right?). Cheers!
So, let's just go ahead and get it out of the way: Kimye's having a beybey. Celebitchy predicted this last week. I don't think it's that shocking. I guess she felt that her clock's ticking and her divorce is dragging, so she might as well get knocked up. Please God, let this child look like her. Or Mason. Or Penelope. Check out this link for the hilarious twitter reactions to baby Kimye.
What are your resolutions this year? I have a few.
The return of this guy (well more like True Blood) in June. I'm sweating right now.
The return of this show next month. Eeekkk! Love them.
And of course, I can't talk about 2013 without talking about this...
Aghhhhh! JHutch!! Finnick!!! Too much excitement for me to handle!!!
Is it bad that all of my excitement involves televisions shows and/or movies? Oh well.
Anyway, from our home to yours...........
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a side note, Aaron got a helmet to use while riding on his "Show-Wheeler" AKA Four Wheeler, and he refuses to take it off.

- To wear a bikini next summer. I really, really need for this to happen. For great beach pictures, of course. MyFitnessPal app is downloading on my phone as I type...
- To let go. Of everything. To stop worrying about everything. To pray and trust that God's in control. To grow closer in my relationship with Him. To be a better person. A better mother. A better wife. A better friend. Just be better.
- To read more.
- To blog more.
- And finally, to stop cutting my hair off. We don't work well together.

Thoughts
I went to Tarjay today to pick up a few essentials and non essentials (shhh....Adam doesn't know.....yet). Check out my loot:
I'm thinking I'll wear this to Natalie's baby shower that I'm co-hosting Sunday afternoon. It's short so I'll have to wear leggings/black tights underneath, but I'm thinking this with my new BCBG's and some fancy earrings. What do you think?
Eeeekkk! I love these. I love wearing tights/leggings, and hello??! Colored tights/leggings??!! A prissy girl's dream come true!! Too much? I'm thinking they will add oomph to a LBD or any solid dress for that matter.
And finally, above is the F21 dress that I'm planning on wearing to Jessica's Bach party Saturday night. The whole shebang (minus the accessories). How does it look? Can you tell I'm majorly sucking in? No Chick-Fil-A (at least until next week), shawty!

Weekend Review
This weekend has totally flown by. Today I have done nothing. Well, me and my boys went and indulged in Mexican for lunch and I grocery shopped, but other than that- nothing. It's been fabulous.
Yesterday was busy. Last night, me and three of my girlfriends hosted a couples shower for my friend, Jessica, who's getting married in December. We also have her Bachelorette party in "The A" next weekend which I'm insanely excited about considering I haven't experienced a GNO on the town in quite awhile. I am positive it will involve: lots of Spanx, a penis necklace and a crown, a dance-off of some sort, some drunk tears, and possibly some vomitage.
Anyway, the shower went off without a hitch. The food was delish, the guests seemed entertained, and most importantly, the Bride and Groom were happy. The only thing that was terribly embarrassing (of course, on my part) was when I mistakenly asked a guest if they were going to the Bachelorette party, and she had no clue what I was talking about. Hello? Social radar! Stuck.foot.in.mouth. I felt horrible....so I drank.
Here are some pics:
BTW, every time I say "Bride" do you think of "Franck" in FOTB? I do.
Here are a few other pics of the evening. One thing I learned after looking at the pictures: only tall and thin girls need to wear a dress that hangs straight down that while absolutely adorable (shop my friends boutique Ella Bleu- the clothes are amazing!) made me look like a chunky midget. Here's proof:
Moral of this story: I need waist definition in dresses. Taking note. Moving on.
I hope all of you have had a wonderful weekend! If you get a chance, send my father-in-law, David, a positive thought. He is an avid Dawgs fan, goes to every game, and is at every tailgate cooking up some yummy food for every body, every weekend. Yesterday, while cooking up a low-country boil at the tailgate, accidentally walked in flip-flops through boiling water (that someone had poured out without him knowing) and got badly burned on his feet. So bad in fact, that Athens ER rushed him via ambulance to the Augusta Burn Unit where he had surgery today. :( Positive thoughts/prayers appreciated!
Enjoy your evening!

It's Fall, y'all
Happy Sunday, y'all! Can you feel it in the air?? Fall's here! This is, hands down, my favorite season. Excited about: fun scarves, slouchy boots, leggings (and of course, jeggings), Pumpkin Spice Latte's, and (I have to say it), Breaking Dawn 2! About to keel over with joy.....for real.
Last night we celebrated one of my bestie's, Jessica, 30th birthday. Here's a pic:
Had a blast! Jessica is getting married December 15th, and I am one of the lucky girls that gets to stand beside her on her big day. Aren't my friends lovely? :)
So, in anticipation of her big day (and simply for the fact that I'm not going to give up my glass of wine a night), I've worked out 4 days this week. That's, like, a record people. I met with a personal trainer Friday (consult came free with joining the gym), and I am putting it lightly when I say he kicked.my.a$$. First, we sat down and went over my body fat percentage (terrible), and my goals. I basically told him that the only reason why I wanted to lose weight was for completely vain reasons, but that the health benefits would be a great perk. ;) After discussing goals, workouts, etc. he then proceeded to go all Britney Spears trainer on me. I'm talking squats, lunges, climbing stairs, while screaming 8-count reps. On top of all this, he was very attractive and every time I did look at him I broke out in a huge smile, forgot what rep I was on, and giggled.....nonstop. What is wrong with me??! Afterwards, he pulled me back into his office to discuss nutrition packages/personal training sessions that would cost upwards of $25 a week! Srsly?? I'm already paying y'all a whopping $50 bucks a month- you'd think the training sessions could be free (especially when Planet Fitness down the road is offering $10/month plans)! Welcome to the gym, folks.
Tonight is the Emmy's!! Y'all know that I love nothing more than a good awards show. And I don't discriminate. I'm talking Teen Choice Awards to Academy Awards- I'm so there. The following are my predictions for tonight:
I guess we'll see........

- Lea Michele will be a total diva and do the pout face at every camera she can get her mug on.
- Jon Hamm will be gorge. The girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt will look pretty and a little desperate (I stay worried about her. She just seems so nice and I don't want The Hamm to break her heart.)
- Zooey Deschanel (my fave) will be the cutest, funniest person there and I'll wish that we were BFF's.
- 30 Rock will win everything.
- Wonder if this guy will be there:

How does Jennifer Aniston do this daily?
Oh my God, y'all. I attempted yoga today.....it wasn't pretty. Of course the instructor was a tall, skinny blonde that's double jointed. I, of course, was totally unprepared for what was in store. Luckily, one of my old Allstate work buddies is on vacay, and was taking the class as well- she provided encouragement. At one point I looked at her, said "this shit is hard," and burst out laughing. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I think I'm going back next week. I can't let the Downward-Facing Dog intimidate me. Must also remember to wear a thong or seamless underwear next time as panty lines are not attractive in yoga pants; especially when your a$$ is in another person's face the.whole.time. SMH......

Musings
Happy Tuesday, everyone! It's a rainy day in Georgia and I am loving it. I've got a great excuse to wear stretchy pants, drink coffee, play DVR catch up during nap time (while also catching up on laundry), cuddle with my baby and fur baby, and search Pinterest for something yummy for dinner.
I hope y'all had a good weekend! We spent it with family. Besides the fact that the hubs was MIA, we had a nice couple of days. Check my Instagram for pics if you're interested. ;)
I joined the gym today. I've already FB status updated and tweeted this, as this is big news in the Mosely hacienda. I honestly cannot remember the last time I stepped a New Balance sneaker into the gym. I had an epiphany over the weekend, "why don't I join a gym?" I was sipping on a glass of wine while in the tub Saturday night, studying my flabby belly (stretch marks, froyo, french fries), and it occurred to me "my a$$ needs to be in the gym." After researching gyms in the area, I found a very convenient one down the road that offers free childcare 6 days/week. How can I pass that up?? I literally have no excuse. So, here goes. By the way, how many times did I use gym in this paragraph?
Don't tell my hubby, but I bought the Hunger Games DVD yesterday. (Rut-roh) It's an obsession. It's turning unhealthy. I just cannot get over this face (and jaw line):
And in other tween news, Breaking Dawn part 2 comes out in exactly 60 days. Wonder if Rpatz and KStew will get it together for the interview circuit? Either way, he's still #1 Boyfriend.
Enjoy your day!!

Verdict
Raise your hand if you watched The X Factor last night. (I'm waving my right hand frantically in the air right now.) Hellur! Absolutely loved it! I haven't watched American Idol in years, so the only reason I was looking forward to even watching The X Factor last night was because of Brit-Brit. Well, I really liked the show, AND it looks like our girl might be getting her groove back. Really, I was impressed. Britney did not mince words, and seemed to really care about giving these contestants the honest to God truth. Go girl! She looked great, too. Totally dug the glasses she wore on this day:
On the other hand, after last night I have a major girl crush on Demi Lovato. What a cutie! I've never really paid much attention to Demi before. I mean, I knew she dated Joe Jonas at one point, and I knew she had punched somebody in her entourage out at one point, and then immediately went to rehab afterwards. So, last night was the first time I watched something she was in for a period of time.......love her!! I just thought she was so fresh-faced and adorable. I loved the fact that she didn't wear a ton of makeup (although her eyeliner in the first part of the episode was something fierce), and had a really easy-going banter with everyone from Simon to the contestants. After the show, I immediately went to Twitter and started following. New fan!
I'm going to have to DVR tonight. Glee comes back and Kate Hudson is starring as a teacher, and HELLO- she's like girl crush #1!
One last thing, have y'all heard The Bieb's new song? Heard it for the first time last night and cannot get it out of my head. Who said 30 wasn't the new 20?

Dear Britney
I guess you've all heard the big news......Brit Brit's big X Factor premiere is tonight. I'm pumped. I'm really, really hoping she's not going to be weird. She looks great as Exhibit A and B shows:
I worry about Brit-Brit-, I cannot lie. I always feel like she's on the verge of a major breakdown. It's obvious girlfriend is on medication. And you know, if that works good for her! Yesterday her and Simon Colwell appeared on Ellen, and although she looked beautiful, she looked like she might be a tad constipated. (Girl, we know you stopped at In-N-Out and got you some french fries on the way!) Check it out:
See what I'm talking about? I really do think that if I were her personal assistant, she wouldn't act that way. The following is basically how it would go down:
"Britney, I've loved you since the 2000 VMA's when you became a stripper. I knew at that point we would have a lasting relationship. I especially loved the MTV episode of "Diary" when you and JT loved it up for the cameras. I still cannot believe you cheated on JT with Wade Robson.....what was that?? Anyway, you really took it to a new low when you married KFed and premiered Chaotic. I stuck by you when you shaved your head, and went cray cray on the paparazzi (although they totally deserved it). I was even your biggest supporter when you were riding around in Paris Hilton's Mercedes Benz not wearing underwear (probably not your best move). There have been a number of things that have gone down, and yet I've always supported you no matter what. So from this point on, this is the plan: you're going to learn to dance again (Hello?! I'm a slaaavvve for you), you're going to stop being weird during interviews, and you need to just go ahead and break off that engagement with Jason Trawho?, and reunite with JT (let's just admit that we all know JT does not want to marry Jessica Biel). That's the plan, you feel me?"
So with all of this in mind, I will be watching the X Factor tonight, glass of wine in hand, rooting for my girl. Come on, Britney! We believe in you!!

Recaps
I have been incredibly slack about posting the last few days. We had a super busy weekend of family, friends, and football, and I was still recovering yesterday.
Since I'm on this huge diet kick right now, I made a couple of appetizers from the Hungry Girl Cookbook for our little football party; Sliders (Recipe here) and Cocktail Weenies (Recipe here). I have to say that I was a little proud of myself because they turned out delicious! And the best part was that it was half the calories!
Sunday, Aaron and I met up with Ashley for a Mexican lunch, and some catching-up back at my house. We had a blast! It's always so nice to get together with friends that you don't see that often. Looking forward to our next lunch date, A. :)
I think I'm going to order Jillian's 30 Day Shred. I've lost 5 pounds so far on my 1200 calorie diet, but I want to kick it up a notch. This post-pregnancy weight is a pain! I've never had 10 extra pounds cling to my body like this before. Somethings gotta give.

What am I thinking??
I'm taking the GACE Early Childhood Content Assessment tomorrow. I am so not prepared. Why am I such a procrastinator?? I swear I am ADD. I cannot concentrate on one thing for longer than thirty minutes unless it's a Glee episode or an Emily Giffen book. For example, at this moment I should be studying; Aaron's finally taking a nap, and I have at least 2 hours of good study time ahead of me. Instead I'm whining about the fact that I'm lazy when it comes to reading about what civilizations Pizarro and Cortes conquered. Mothereff...........
I'm still waiting on my Aaron birthstone necklace from juliethefish designs. I'm getting a little impatient. She sent me a follow-up email stating that the estimated ship date was yesterday, the 19th. I scooted on over to the UPS website today with my tracking ID number to see if it was en route, and came across nothing. No status update whatsoever. Uhhhhhh.......I hate waiting!
On an excited note, I stepped on the scale today and I have lost 5 pounds! Sticking with a 1,200 calorie per day diet, and it's working. I think I'll reward myself with take-out Japanese tonight......haha!
My ten-year class reunion is almost a month away. I don't know how to feel about this; happy, excited, sad, anxious, dreadful??! Anyhow, I want to find something fun to wear. Any suggestions??
Also, I need some input on good lipstick/lip gloss shades. I bought two tubes of the new Cover Girl Lip Stain last week at CVS and am not happy with the color. What colors do you like?
Happy Friday!
