OMG! I blogged!

Hello friends! Okay, so let’s just get this out of the way; I haven’t blogged in over 3 months and I am feeling pretty bad about it. I don’t know why I have not felt the urge to blog; maybe it’s the expanding belly, or the increasing tiredness, or maybe even it’s the fact that when I get home from a full day of work all I want to do is sit on the couch in my Victoria Secret stretchy pants (and believe me, they are stretched) eating soft batch chocolate chip cookies. Whatever the reason, I have decided to get back with the program, hence, the new and updated blog header. You likey?? I can thank my friend Ashley over at Kindredly for providing such a super-duper cute header for the new and improved (and much more mama-like) Laughing Lolly. I figured that with all of the big changes heading my way in the next 3 weeks or so that I needed to make some updates. Yes, I am still the same Laughing Lolly that loves discussing celebrities, makeup, and gossip (Can I just say that the huge amount of time that has been spent over the past few months lounging in front of the TV has caused a huge obsession with Keeping Up With the Kardashian's??!! I am so sad this season is over!), but some of the new topics might now include: breast-feeding, dirty diapers, running on no sleep, and Baby Einstein. With all of this being said, I am SO happy to be back!

I have to say pregnancy is starting to get the best of me. I’ve been really lucky in the fact that my pregnancy has been relatively easy and enjoyable……until now. My belly is huge, I feel the need to go to the bathroom every time I stand up, I cannot walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath, I get leg cramps so bad in the middle of the night that I wake myself up screaming (no, I promise I’m not being dramatic), and I am just totally uncomfortable. It’s time for little man to come out- mama needs some relief! Plus, I am just so excited to meet the little guy and smother him in kisses. I absolutely cannot wait for him to get here!

My time over the past 3 months or so has been completely taken over by my little man, and I would not have it any other way. Adam painted our guest room the prettiest baby blue I have ever seen, and we chose to go with white baby furniture instead of oak. We are just now putting the finishing touches on the room, and (hopefully) we'll be finished with everything by the end of next week. Pictures to come soon!

Here are some pics of my growing belly; warning: it is huge!

24 Weeks at Thanksgiving

34 weeks

36 weeks- picture taken just last weekend

I am officially 37 weeks yesterday- woohoo! Hopefully, only 3 more weeks to go!

I have to say that Adam and I have been so blessed over the past year; not only with this baby, but with Adam's new job, and the fact that we have the most amazing friends and family anyone could ever ask for. Although our life is about to do a complete 360, we can't imagine it any other way!

Now off to paint my nails- gotta look my best for our couple's shower tonight! Muah!!!!!!
