This past Saturday was our first family photo shoot with Graceology Photography. Graceology has been with us for awhile; they first took me and Adam's engagement and wedding photos back in 2007. The owners, Heather, a dear friend of mine, and her hubby, Chris, never cease to amaze me with their awesome shots; whether posed or natural they always seem to bring out the best moments in time. I have to be honest though, I was worried about how this photo shoot was going to go. I knew the pictures were going to be beautiful, however; the Georgia heat was a little unbearable this weekend, and our photo shoot was taking place outside at Adam's parent's home with a 3 month old. I can now say that the worrying was completely a waste of time! Luckily, Aaron loves the camera (like his momma) and was the best little model! Although we were constantly wiping sweat from our faces, and jumping in Heather and Chris' Explorer for a little AC between locations, we had the best time! Here's a few of their wonderful shots:

First Haircut!
As promised, here are some of my baby boy's first haircut pictures. Still cannot believe my 3 month old already had to get his hair chopped! Poor thing, he got my massive amount of hair and cowlick on the top of his sweet baby head- not such a good thing. He will forever be working on it, cutting it, styling it, and etc. Here's to the next 40 years of crazy hair, buggy!
Sorry these pictures are in a mush, but you can see the finished product. Love his little boy haircut and love my boo!

Life is......
The other day during Aaron's nap time I was working on his scrapbook, and came across one of the sweetest, truest quotes I have ever read:
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." ~Angela Schwindt
I immediately wrote the quote down and pasted it in his scrapbook. Although I am not exactly sure who Angela Schwindt is, it was the perfect way to describe how I am feeling these days. I feel as if I have been waiting for Aaron my whole life. I have never been so happy to see a tiny face smile at me in the morning when I get him out of his crib, or babble out loud for 30 minutes straight while sitting in my lap, or even bury his face in my neck when he's tired. My heart literally melts every day! My child will be 3 months old tomorrow and time is flying. Something new is learned every day and I am amazed by every thing that Aaron does. This really is what life is all about.
Aaron is getting his first haircut today! I know, a 3 month old- crazy. Anyhow, I'll be posting pics of the new do. This is what we're working with currently:
Needless to say, I will have a bottle and Tylenol in tow for this trip. Wish us luck!
